About Us

Cary and Kayin Griffith

In 2007, Greenhouse Collaboratives was founded by Kayin and Cary Griffith out of a love of helping their community and working closely together. This love has been an important part of the Greenhouse way of relating to each other and clients.

Though the company structure and name has changed a few times, the vision to help the world through stewarding the stories and vision of others with strategic and beautiful design has not. Greenhouse has slowly grown to who we are today and we are so proud of our team. We’ve found our niche as people who like to walk alongside companies and entrepreneurs as they grow.

Kayin now serves as the Managing Partner for Greenhouse Collaboratives leading a team of amazing leaders and creatives. Cary is the Design Director and UX lead across all accounts ensuring quality design. As a women owned company, we believe deeply in building, learning and developing equity and diversity in our systems and team. We aim to be a transparent, accountable and honest group of people.

We have experience with early stage start-ups, agencies, non-profits, education, large corporations, and more. If your business is B2C or B2B, we can help you grow.

What we value

Love

Yes, this sounds cliche but we believe in the magic of love. We love each other, our clients and our families well. It’s an important part of the “miracle grow” in the Greenhouse environment that can take any project to the next level.

Celebration

Life has highs and lows. When there’s a high we call that a reason to celebrate and want to do that collectively, for our clients and for ourselves. We call out the wins and make it a point to draw attention to growth.

Work hard, play hard

We’ve been known for working around the clock on a deadline to meet a goal. We’ll pull out all the stops to move mountains for a client, however, as a company we have an open vacation policy and believe in prioritizing time off and mental health.

It’s only as good as it functions

A beautiful illustration or brand is only as good as it functions. One of the reasons we love working long term with clients is that we get to touch all parts of a process and can consult along the whole design phase. This often includes looking at data and mapping out user needs. This is true for space design too. If a space looks good but doesn’t fit the needs of those using the space, it’s a waste of time and money.

Over-communicate by default

Alignment on goals, timeline and expectations isn’t just a one time meeting. We care about consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure we are adding the best value and delivering the expected product. We are comfortable asking or being asked hard questions and would rather lean into conflicting ideas than ignore them. This ensures real collaboration and often brings about the best results.

Meet the team…

At Greenhouse Collaboratives, we deeply value our people and believe that we would not be able to help you grow without growing ourselves. We believe that being a part of a team is formational, transformative, and deeply relational. Growth happens when people feel safe, challenged, encouraged, and loved. Our mission to help your business thrive can only be accomplished when we celebrate and cheer on the growth of our own team. We are immensely grateful to have the privilege to be working with eachother.
